Life Lessons with Cool Quotes

Quote(s) of the Day

Everything has been figured out, except how to live.

Everything in life is luck.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.

Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first.

Every man dies. Not every man really lives.

Things Annie Luuuuuuuvs!

Lesson of the Day: It's not the big things but the small things in life that make it worth living!
Well this will probably be my favorite post ever! I love life and just everything in it! But I will narrow it down to the finer things that I really appreciate! One thing I could never live without is technology! I have no idea how people lived without ipods...cars....cellphones...computers! Did they have to walk to their destination to get their message delivered? How tragic!

Something else I find very loveable in life is clothes!!!! Forever 21...american eagle...toms....mandarine...love them all! Their clothes are really in and super cute! Along with fashion magazines which keep you up to date with all the latest hairstyles and make-up!

More material objects in this world that I adore is the million of things you can do! You can go for a picnic by the beach...shopping....or go see a movie! Or the thousands of different restaraunts one can attend to! The variety of foods in this world is incredible. We can go on vacation. They may seem like little things to us but in reality most of the world doesn't have total access to these sort of luxuries. I'm very thankful that God has blessed me with such a great oppurtunities.

Something that is very important to me is my social life. I love to talk....being quiet or silence is not in my nature. My friends mean the world to me....for example my friend Leah Lavi. I would consider her to be my best friend. She is a once in a lifetime friend that I was so lucky to find. She's not that kind of friend that you pass in the hallway and say hi to...nor just someone you talk to in your class...or her locker is right next to yours...not she's my best friend. I've never had someone I've spent literally 24 hours a day 7 days a week with and not wanting to rip her head off. I can tell her literally anything. I'm myself around her and I'm not afraid to be. I don't hold back at all and she doesn't judge me. She's always there for me...keeps me grounded...loves me regardless of the situation...makes me laugh...helps me see the reality...doesn't make me feel stupid or unwanted...we give each other our full attention and we never seem to get bored of each other. Our constant bickering is what makes our friendship unique...our many memories are created throughout the day one by one. I lover her so much and I honestly don't know what I would do without her. We hope to go to the same college because at this point I just can't imagine my life without her crazy self. Well that was my last post for this week. I hope to continue this blog even though the assignment is over. I will post another quote of the day. Bye!

Fashion trends 2012

As the new year progresses society's new styles are coming and older fashions that were in the 80s and 90s are coming back. Old vintage has been taking over for the past few months...it's been modernized but it still has that nice look to it. With new style comes with new hairstyles too! This blog will be all about whats new and up and coming.
The very loose knitted sweaters or cardigans are very cute and comfortable. High wasited shorts and skinny jeans. Flowy tops in general as well as infinity scarves. All types of boots are being accepted especially now because it's colder.Cute...vintagey....and perfect for the cooler weather!

Wear infinity scarves with anything! They're a perfect accessory and they help keep you warm.

Very fashion foward! Especially the bag and boots!

Cute bun goes with every outfit! Really simple too!

Braiding a part of your hair and then pulling it straight back into a ponytail?! It doesnt get that much easier then that!
All these hairstyles and cute clothes are super simple to achieve. Most of these stores will contain everything you need to achieve these looks. Forever 21 is a personal favorite. No matter how instyle you want to be however make sure that it still has a touch of YOU in it!

LMU with Leah

Lesson of the Day:You know you have a true friend when you can be doing everything or doing nothing and still have a great time.

On Saturday I was so excited because today was going to be a fun filled day with none other then my friend Leah. We were going to an LMU game and just spend time together. I was stoked. We arrived at the alumni game around 10ish to watch the fanastic alumni team play against each other. It was just a friendly game for the teammates to compete against each other and see if they still had it. They all did! Tey were incredibly talented despite the fact they had grauduated college probably had jobs and were dealing with what they were going to do with the rest of their lives. On top of that I had never truly met them before and even so they were so nice and freindly with me. After the alumni game we went to Leahs house and just hung out. We weren't doing much but that mean nothing because most of the time we are just sitting there talking and even just that we're not bored. Even though we spend practically every waking hour with each other we never seem to get tired or annoyed with each other to the point where we can't stand each other. It's an interesting relationship in my opinion. Anywho we were waiting around her house to go to the alumni luncheon but we had learned it was Chipotle which is our least favorite place in the entire world. One time we got literally chicken and lettuce on our burrito and our mouth was on fiya! We ran over to Yougurtland and asked for sample cups and shoved the fro yo down our throats. Moving on we decided to go to this yummy restaraunt and we got kabobs. They were delicious! We even sawe a school friend...Joe. He was on his phone the entire time so we didn't disturb him. Afterwards we headed back to LMU for the official game. We lost to Portland but it was still a great day with Leah. It's never a let down between the 2 of us. We're a good time.

Quote of the Day:Cute guys make you crazy. Hot guys make you drool. Cool guys make you daydream. But funny guys make you fall in love.

The Vow Review

Fact of the Day: Movies always have a way of bringing people together.

Many of you may know my husband Channing Tatum (haha) has recently starred in the movie The Vow. It is an incredibly romantic and moving movie about a man and a wife played by the beautiful Rachael McAdams that must find a way to fall in love all over again due to the wife's injury. They were both in a car injury and Paige (Rachael McAdams) recieved a concusion. She forgot everything she had done with her life in the past 5 years and so Leo (Channing Tatum) works extremley hard to try to help Paige retrace her memory and make her fall in love with him again. There were countless actors who really did an exceptional job and I was very touched everytime Channing Tatum cried. It was amazing and I loved the movie. I saw this movie with my best friend Leah...it was great time too because we had recently just had our first huge fight and so it was a great way to reconnect with each other. Going on with the movie it was such a fantastic movie with OMG moments around every corner. Although there were many twists and turns that were unexpected it kept the audience on their toes the entire time. The parents of Paige along with the rest of her family pissed my friend and I off imensely. Why did they have to intervene? Leo had everything under control in my opinion! Most of the audience members were couples who spent most of the time looking at each other's lips and not at the screen! Their loss it was a mind blowing movie with the hottest guy on this planet acting in it!

Quote of the Day:Try again. Fail again. Fail better.

Journalism: Fun and Friends

Fact of the Day:It's those crazy and awkward moments with your friends that really help create memories in the long run.

Story 1: So I had just recently joined journalism (due to my best friend Leah) and I had just met her friend in journalism Serena...which I now know. Confused? Well I'm getting ahead of myself...anyway I had recently learned that Serena and I would also have math class together which was right before journalism. I was thrilled because she seemed like a really nice person  with an original sense of humor. Moving on...the next day I was walking towards my math class when I saw Serena. I was all the way down from the other end of the hallway and so at the top of my lungs I start screaming, "SERENA! SERENA! SERENA! WAIT UP!!"
I looked like the biggest loser ever, waving my arms, yelling her name, having people look at me like SHUT UP! Worst of all she wasn't turning around....had I said something to her that made her upset...did she already dislike me? I finally started running because maybe I wondered if I was too far away and perhaps she was hard of hearing. She finally turned around and she had this, "EXCUSE ME! MY NAME IS SIERRA! NOT SERENA!" Feeling like the biggest idiot of all time I just started laughing and she continued walking off. She was quite offended and for the next few days I started calling her Serena. We later reminisced about how she heard some annoying loud girl yelling Serena Serena over and over again and she was thinking Serena please answer her back...ironic funny and really stupid too! :) It is such a fond memory that I will never ever forget....I love my new journalism class...this is the class that caused me to create this blog ever...i love my teacher...and the new friends I've made..sierra (Serena)...mariah...and Lisa....
